Why 31 People Ran 31km?

Hello, I'm #runninghaeyoung, a runner with 10 years of experience. A special way to spend March 1st.

March 1st is a national holiday in South Korea commemorating the day in 1919 when Korea launched an independence movement against Japanese colonial rule.

On this day, the Declaration of Independence was proclaimed nationwide, and the independence movement, led by 33 national representatives, began. It also became a day to honor independence activists.

This year, a March 1st commemorative marathon was held, raising approximately 220 million won, which was donated to the descendants of independence fighters, organized by Sean. 31 people ran 31km.

Among the actors who participated, Jin Seon-gyu, Lee Jae-yoon, and Lim Se-mi ran 31km together, and Sean ran the last 3.1km with them as he had a full marathon the next day.

This marathon has been held for 5 years now.
