Gyeongju Marathon Cherry Blossom Hotspot Properly Enjoying

This is Runninghaeyoung. On April 6th, the cherry blossoms

were in full bloom, so I went to see the Gyeongju cherry blossoms

and arrived at the Gyeongju Bomun Tourist Complex.

From Seoul to Gyeongju

I left by car in the early morning,

so it was a very tough schedule..

Actually, I was

visiting my hometown,

so I didn't have any pressure about Gyeongju.

The course was from Gyeongju Bomun Lake to Hwangseong Park

and then back again, a 21km

course. I didn't get any souvenirs, but

there were T-shirts and amino vital

that resembled the color of cherry blossoms.

The date and operation were really great.

During the 21km run, there were a total of 4 water stations,

as well as some uphill and downhill sections

and wide roads.

​

Oh, there were also many cheering squads.

Plus, I lived in Gyeongju,

so I know this area well,

but during cherry blossom season,

there are really a lot of cars..

They closed off the road completely,

and I could enjoy the romance of running while

enjoying the cherry blossoms.

The Bomun Lake course, which goes back the other way, is uphill,

so there were many people taking pictures. lol

Everyone was there to enjoy themselves,

and I was so excited too.

I finished the race lightly. I took a lot of

pictures with the cherry blossoms.

Plus, they gave me 3 kinds of oat beverages, Oh Yes

whipped cream bread, water, etc.

as well as cold noodles with kimchi,

they even added more noodles,

I ran the Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Marathon and wrote a brief

review.

If I have time next year,

I want to participate again. It was a very satisfying marathon.
