2025 Seoul Half Marathon Registration Opens

Hello, I'm Runninghaeyoung, a woman who loves to exercise. There aren't many marathons being held now that winter is coming.

Furthermore, with the popularity of running crews and running in general increasing for the 2024 major marathons, there were many instances where people wanted to run but couldn't. The registration schedule for the 2025 Seoul Half Marathon has been released early.

It's one of the largest marathons held in Seoul.

Descent was the sponsoring brand until 2024, but in 2025, it will be hosted by Prospecs.

The location hasn't been officially announced yet, but it's unlikely to change from Gwanghwamun Plaza.

It seems they've divided the registration dates for the half marathon and 10km to minimize traffic congestion. With Jema and Goma now switching to a lottery system, it seems that future races will increasingly transition from a first-come, first-served basis to a lottery system.

Register for the Seoul Half Marathon

While not much detail has been released yet, only the registration dates and race date have been shared, but it's expected to proceed similarly to last year.

It's a pretty big marathon in Seoul, so I recommend the half marathon.

The course can get narrow in places, but there are many straight sections, so if you've been training, I think you'll be able to complete it without any problems. Good luck with your registration!
