Under Armour Infinite Elite 2: Recommended Daily Running Shoes for Women

Hello, this is Runninghaeyoung. It's a great season for running, but it's not easy because of the fine dust. The Seoul Marathon, a big task, is over, but I have to keep running to maintain my running skills.

Recently, while preparing for my new goal of a 50km ultramarathon, I've been focusing on long-distance running and interval running, and I've become more interested in comfortable running shoes. My existing running shoes were good, but I was looking for a product with better cushioning and lightness. In the meantime, I encountered Under Armour's UA Infinite Elite 2, which was newly released, and I tried it on and tested it in various environments for several days.

UA Infinite Elite 2

Under Armour, a global sports brand born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1996. For me, the most important aspect is the fit. When I first wore the Under Armour UA Infinite Elite 2, the soft, hugging fit was quite impressive.

Compared to the previous version, Elite 1, the removal of the thick TPU heel clip significantly reduced the weight, allowing me to immediately feel the comfort on my feet. Even after running for about 10km or more, the shoes remained comfortable without any pressure on my feet, significantly reducing fatigue.

In terms of functionality, the cushioning effect of the upgraded HOVR+™ foam was outstanding. The energy return, which gently absorbs the impact when the foot first touches the ground and provides propulsion, made each step feel light and lively. In fact, in long-distance running, I felt less strain on my legs towards the latter half and could maintain my speed steadily, which I think is effective in shortening my time.

Breathability is essential. The engineered mesh upper prevented my feet from overheating or getting damp while running. Even though the weather has been unpredictable recently, being able to keep my feet comfortable even on hot days during long runs is a huge advantage.

Finally, I felt that the recovery aspect after running was excellent. My feet usually swell after running, but with the UA Infinite Elite 2, my feet remained light even after running, helping me recover quickly. My feet weren't tired the next day either, so I could do my early morning daily running training without any significant burden.

The Under Armour running apparel I wore with it was also great. Although leggings tend to feel stuffy, the mesh panels on the back of the thighs improved ventilation, and the high-waisted, non-slip waistband provided coverage and support. There's a drop-in pocket on the side, so I could easily store my phone.

Overall, the UA Infinite Elite 2 is a running shoe that satisfyingly incorporates all the elements runners want: fit, lightness, cushioning, and breathability. I highly recommend this product for those who are just starting to run and those who frequently enjoy long-distance running, as it provides optimal performance.
