World Vision Global 6K Run for Donation Participation Complete

Do you remember the World Vision Global 6K Running Campaign that I introduced last time?

The long-awaited registration period is finally here. I'm writing this post to reintroduce it and invite you to join me in this meaningful run.

I registered offline.

For reference, Global 6K is a global donation campaign involving over 30 countries worldwide to provide "clean water." The '6K' represents the average distance children in developing countries walk daily to obtain water.

Did you know that you'll receive special gifts when you register for the Global 6K Running Campaign? The participation fee is 30,000 won, and you'll receive various commemorative items needed for the run. This year, there will be a string bag, a Global 6K t-shirt, a medal (for offline participants only, collected on-site), a race number, and more. The t-shirt is a special edition with a new design every year, making it even more anticipated. Don't miss out; register now!

After registering, share a certification image on SNS and connect with other participants. Those who run a Naver blog can also participate by uploading content with the required hashtags.

Global 6K Running Campaign Guide

The official name is Global 6K for Water, a global donation campaign involving over 30 countries worldwide. This campaign was created to provide clean water to children in developing countries in need. Participating in the campaign means donating clean water to children who walk 6km every day through World Vision, making it more meaningful than just a run. This year, you can participate in two ways: 1. Offline Run - Scheduled for October 12th at 8:30 AM at Ilsan Lake Park. It's a great opportunity to run together, enjoy the fun, and interact with other participants.

2. Virtual Run - Run 6km wherever and whenever you want, then upload a certification image to complete your participation. Don't forget the required hashtags! The virtual run certification period is from September 28th to October 31st, making it a good opportunity for those who can't participate in the offline event due to busy schedules. Uploading certification images to blogs or sharing them on SNS will give you a sense of participating together in the run.

Event

Besides participation, there are various events. There's a game where you certify a 6km run and build a water facility. Although it's a game, it represents the actual installation of water facilities, so we hope many people will participate.

The World Vision Water Facility Creation Event is an event where a water system is built step-by-step for every 1,000 6K running certification posts. After completing one of the two certification missions, upload a certification post with the required hashtags to your personal SNS (Instagram, Naver Blog, Tistory). It's really simple! Those who certify will be entered into a drawing for prizes for every 1,000 certification posts. (This means the more you post, the higher your chances of winning!)

Registration and Period

Now, the important registration period. The registration period for this year's Global 6K Running Campaign is from August 1st to 31st. You can easily register through the link during the recruitment period, so don't hesitate to apply!
