Yeongdeungpo Studio Gongdeulin Studio Semi Munraedong Body Profile Photoshoot Review - No Pressure!

With Christmas in December already approaching, 2024 is coming to an end. Looking back on 2024, I wanted to make new memories, so I went to a highly-rated body profile studio in Yeongdeungpo. The photos I wanted to capture were, of course, fitness profile shots!

Body profile photos can feel a bit daunting, but Gongdeulin Studio, a famous studio in Yeongdeungpo, offers a <b>newly launched "light" version of body profile photos</b>. Thanks to this lighter version, with the current focus on healthy and sustainable exercise and life, I felt that body profile photos were a great way to document my current self. Plus, everyone's body has its own unique beauty, and since you can express it freely, they offered various style suggestions and shooting techniques tailored to each person's body type and strengths, making it feel like I was at a personal color consultation! ㅎㅎ

Looking at their studio's news, I saw that many actors also have photoshoots there. It's a famous photographer in Yeongdeungpo studio! ㅎㅎㅎ

Parking depends on the time, but I arrived at a time that allowed me to easily bring my belongings. At first, I didn't know where to park, so I called the photographer, and they kindly came down to show me. Inside the studio, I had a brief chat with the photographer and changed clothes. The studio was also used as a personal workspace with various shooting equipment and props.

They often shoot actor profiles as well, as I mentioned before. The version I shot was the "light" body profile version. Regular body profile shoots cost 300,000 to 500,000 KRW or more, and while previously the price was relatively high at a 2-hour rate, this new version has lowered the cost and burden, offering a 1-hour session for 165,000 KRW (including VAT) with 3 retouched photos. Moreover, Gongdeulin Studio doesn't inflate prices with packages including goods or hair and makeup; they only charge for the photoshoot. Their focus is economical shooting. They provide all high-resolution (15-megapixel) original files to customers at no extra cost, provided that the photos are not used for commercial purposes. There are no additional charges for changing concepts or outfits; only the hourly shooting fee is added, so it's great to have various concepts in mind when you come!

Photoshoots can be awkward, but as I was shooting, the photographer showed me what angles and poses suited my face shape best. I learned about my face shape and what angles were most flattering. It was like a personal color consultation, as I mentioned before! It was a time for me to learn about myself through photos.

Body profile photos can feel overwhelming, but they captured the healthy lines of my body using various lighting techniques. I could choose from photos taken with different lighting to find the one that best suited my aesthetic. Providing all the original photos was an excellent choice.

The photographer continuously guided me on posing, making the process comfortable and not awkward at all.

Gongdeulin Studio's unique advantage is its outdoor snaps. Without going far, they capture the studio's unique atmosphere using the rooftop and outdoors. I didn't plan on bringing my bicycle, but thanks to the enthusiastic photographer, we managed to include it in a few shots – with my winter padding, of course! ㅎㅎ

I also took some photos with my Casper (car) and managed to get a lot done within an hour! There's a reason why Gongdeulin Studio is so famous in Yeongdeungpo! ㅎㅎ They provide all the original photos, so I could get various shots, beyond the 3 retouched ones, like the car shots.

For those who want frequent and convenient photoshoots, they offer an annual subscription, and I liked that the prices were transparent. (General profile - 440,000 KRW upfront payment for 4 2-hour shoots over a year. Body profile adds 220,000 KRW, totaling 660,000 KRW). Please note that prices will increase next year.
